Working for BendBroadband means joining a leader in the telecommunications industry. We were the first company in Oregon to launch high speed internet service, and the first cable operator in the state to have an all-digital cable platform. Our forward-thinking and progressive attitude toward emerging technology has earned us multiple awards and accolades.

Being a BendBroadband employee also means giving back to the Central Oregon community. As a concerned local company, we are proud of our contributions to the children and youth in their education and athletic endeavors. BendBroadband is also a generous supporter of Central Oregon cultural arts and entertainment.

Additionally, we provide complimentary or discounted services for the public schools, fire stations and a variety of nonprofit organizations. We take to heart that we are a local company, and that because we’re local, we have to be better. In fact, it’s not only our position, it’s our brand promise.

The telecommunications industry grows and evolves with new technologies every day, so do we. TDS has evolved from a telephone company to a broadband company. Customers expect a choice of high-quality products and services, supported by exceptional customer service.

Committed to the community's we serve

TDS is giving back and supporting hundreds of organizations throughout the country. From hands-on volunteering, to in-kind and financial support, TDS takes a vested interest in the growth and success of the communities we serve. The way we see it, supporting local nonprofit organizations is vital to our company, employees, communities, and customers.

Giving back is an integral part of our culture. In fact, it's so vital to our core beliefs, we provide employees 16 hours of paid time off every year to volunteer. Every year, employees take advantage of the company's “Be Good Citizens” program and leverage paid time off to volunteer. Since the program began, employees volunteered tens of thousands of Be Good Citizens hours to make a difference in their communities.

While many employees share volunteer experiences near and dear to their heart, we take pride in offering a wide array of opportunities they can choose from. However they get involved, employees repeatedly tell us how they value the personal growth and satisfaction they gain from helping others.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TDS Telecommunications (Knoxville, TN) in August 2018.

    Interview

I was called for a phone interview and immediately scheduled for a face to face.
I found out the job ad was very misleading. Door to door only. No thank you!!!
