They provide opportunities for young people and recent college graduates. They are also willing to take risk on people with little experience. In addition, they take risks on new market opportunities. They build a quality product that employees can believe in. They are aggressive in their approach to business and will accomplish much even against the worst market conditions. The company also gives to many charitable organizations.
Slow to recognize people for their work. Hires many young people but is slow to increase pay scale as they grow in positions. Seems to be a major disconnect among employees and the H.R. department. There are many odd nuances within the company. Some key members of the company come across as arrogant, whether duly deserved or not. The company culture tends to micromanage individuals and their work which creates inefficiencies and lack of decision making within the company.
Advice to Management
Allow people to grow and expand in their role. Do not micromanage. Stick with your employees decisions even if the wrong decision was made. Everyone will make mistakes but it is those who make the most mistakes that will become your most valuable emplyees. Compensate and expand the roles of your employees as they grow.
