Hire a document specialist to update current procedures and write new ones
Hire a training specialist so that training is consistent across the operations group
Ensure you are listening to your people-implement bi annual surveys and act upon the feedback
Take on business where we can be successful and where we have expertise
Provide additional training to new PMs on negotiation and managing scope changes
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TKL Research (Paramus, NJ).
Interviewed by Dept. head. Unable to describe job, as it was a new position. Said dept was expanding and needed help desperately. Very self involved. Talked about family and sports. Easy to see this person had no experience interviewing candidates and very little experience talking about anything but themselves. Was called back in to talk to CEO. Strange interview, got the feeling CEO didn't know what the position really was either.
