Tokio Marine Group – Mangrove Project
The Mangrove Project is a 100 year commitment by Tokio Marine to support social responsibility and the environment. Employees from across Tokio Marine companies participate in rebuilding, planting and supporting the mangrove communities throughout Southeast Asia. The goal is to enhance and sustain local community developments that are tied to the various benefits of the mangrove forests.
We have relationships and participate with the following charitable organizations:
TMNAS offers opportunities for continuing education, training, and development through our Insurance Designations Program as well as development programs specific to each department (e.g. CPA, Actuarial study, IT certifications programs)
TMNAS also offers a Tuition Assistance Program to encourage and assist employees with their pursuit of higher education degrees. This program provides tuition reimbursement for Associate, Undergraduate, and Graduate Programs of Study.
All managers and above at TMNAS participate in an annual one day intensive off-site focused on leadership and management development. Additionally, Managers have the opportunity to participate in a two day development training which focuses on best practices in performance management. It includes a 180 assessment which helps managers identify their managerial style and better adapt that to the needs of their direct reports.
TMNAS also offers a number of leadership development programs.
The leadership development program at TMNAS is an intensive annual program that spans six months and includes project work, reading assignments, and offsite visits. Each year participants are chosen to be part of the program to develop and enhance their leadership skills. The participants work in teams for six months developing and delivering a real business process improvement plan. There are very high expectations of these participants. This program is designed to stretch and challenge people, asking them to try new things and work outside of their comfort zone. There are teams from TMNAS and also from our other group companies and this gives participants an opportunity to work with employees from all over North and South America. There is an expectation that participants will master the following skills by the end of this program: Strategic Thinking, Organizational Savvy, Teamwork, Communication Skills, and Initiative.
Next generation Leadership Program: Launched in 2015, this program takes graduates of the Leadership program and puts them through an intensive 16 month course focused on developing key talent across the Americas, helping them grow to new positions integrated with the company’s strategic business needs and succession plans.
Middle Global Leadership Development Program: This is a one week program aimed at developing global leadership skills of employees who are expected to become senior executives in 5-7 years. The program provides participants with an opportunity to:

just one: all of your time off comes out of one PTO bank, so there's no separate days for personal/vacation/sick days. Most positions have options to work from home, so it all depends on if you can do that -- then it's not as bad.
Advice to Management
keep it up with employee engagement and constantly improving!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TMNA Services in October 2017.
I have applied thru online and after 3 weeks they have called me for the interview. As usual the initial is with the manager and have called me for onsite interview. A panel 3 people talk to me about the positions and have serious technical question were asked. I have explained the things in details and interview took for approx. for 2-3 hrs. These people are very unprofessional and did not provided the interview feedback . It is fine if they don’t select the candidate ,but however expect minimum curtesy to provide the feedback if we are not selected in the interview. I don’t recommend any one to apply for this company but don’t expect the communication
Their communication process is extremely BAD
