    Pros

Owner/President a good guy to work with and for. Flexible with OM hours and time off when needed for family reasons. Owner and the shareholders care about the people and employee retention/longevity. Strong, viable, secure company. Decent benefits. Good people to work with.

    Cons

Small. Does not have resources like larger companies, with respect to management counter parts. Information technology. Small.

    Advice to Management

Communicate. Be cognizant of the time/hours put in by Office Manager.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at TMS (Technical Marketing Specialists) (Pittsburgh, PA) in January 2009.

    Interview

There was a telephone interview and in-person interviews with two people. They were very standard with absolutely no surprises.

    Interview Questions

    • This is not truly a "customer service " position. You are restricted as to what you can say to the customers because we are dealing with pharmaceuticals and there are legal issues. Will you be satisfied with that?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

I asked for 10% more than they offered and got it. I probably left money on the table!
