The company has been through management changes in the past year. It has had some major project changes and hurdles. The company has held the people it values and tries to retain in a difficult environment and industry slowdown. TFS has a great group of people but they need to be better trained and enthusiastic about the growth.
The company hires managers from outside rather than nurturing and bringing up people from the ranks. The further growth and training of employees with higher levels of responsibility is limited. Management has been trying to take a new direction but its slow along with the market slowdown.
Advice to Management
Please evaluate and allocate training to make current managers better and match up to industry standards. It should be mandatory for management to show attempt at growth both from professional skill set and technical skill set to help TFS emerge as an industry leader. Growth should come from within and a serious endeavor to excel.
A laid back interview, we discussed what kind of work TFS does, and what responsibilities I would have. I was shown around the jobsite, and introduced to a few people in the office.
