TRANSInternational System was founded in 1973 by our father Jack Stewart, a visionary who saw the dynamic impact that containerization and the new modes of intermodal transportation would bring to world commerce. Based on this vision he recruited his two sons, Mark and John, to join him in building a company offering specialized services to support this new and evolving international intermodal transportation system.
