I have been working at TSL Logistics (Less than a year)
Set your own schedule. No forced loads. Very good in-house mechanics. Drivers are very helpful in helping new drivers.
Training consists of 4 days driving w/another driver & 8 hrs. classroom. Learn on the fly. NO Paid Holidays unless you are working. you are expected to provide your own hand tools. Benefit package is minimal. Mileage is .30-.? cents per mile, it's a mystery what you get paid when industry standard is.39 cents per mile. Paid Miles driven doesn't does not match actual miles driven(air miles ?), confused yet ? So am I. I was told I'd make 900-1100 per wk. Haven't seen over 800. yet. Average $750. per wk @ 55 hrs ? equals $ 13.63. If you are happy with that, hop on board....
Advice to Management
Get in the 21st century, upgrade your mileage pay, so a guy can pay his bills.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TSL Logistics in February 2017.
the HR asked a lot of behavior questions and he is directly read from the paper because he speak really fast. It took 20 mins for the interview. Interview was on time.
