Congratulations to Robbie Barnes, the 2017 Mary Ellen's Moving People Forward Scholarship winner and recipient of $50,000! Alongside franchisees Bryan and Rebecca Feldman, he will be opening a brand new location in Beaufort, S.C.!
1851 Franchise Magazine named TWO MEN AND A TRUCK as a top 25 best service franchise brand!
It all started as an after-school business for two high school boys. With a hand-drawn logo, advertisement in a local paper, and advertising fund stashed in a ceramic dish, the endeavor was never expected to be more than a local moving company.
Now, 30 years later, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has grown both domestically and internationally with more than 320 locations worldwide. In 2015, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will operate in 39 states with additional growth expected in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
We’re proud of the more than 60 consecutive months of growth, the completion of five million moves and counting, and the annual donation of $2.5 million in moving services. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is poised for long-term record success!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is the fastest-growing franchised moving company in the country and offers comprehensive home and business relocation and packing services. Our goal is to exceed customers expectations by customizing our moving services to specific needs. We move apartments, condominiums, homes, businesses, and everything in between – from very small to very large. Whether moving down the street, across the country, or to a new home or business building, we’re here to help with managing relocation stress.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team members are some of the most loyal around. They tell us they love working here because of the variety, great people, and opportunity to make a difference. Many have developed lifelong friendships and feel like they are part of a family. In addition to offering competitive salary and benefits, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® rewards hard work and improvement while celebrating wins, both small and large. You are likely to see our franchises celebrating the holidays with staff at a nice dinner or enjoying a competitive paint ball session to top off a busy moving season. Now that’s working hard and playing hard.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has built a family-like culture based on our core purpose – to move people forward. We have also established a set of core values to live by. And they are so much more than words on paper.
The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® mission is to continuously strive to exceed our customers' expectations in value and high standard of satisfaction. Not only do we keep that mission top of mind, but we also keep community support at the forefront of what we do.
A leader in community service
Since 2009, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country have donated more than 74,476 hours of service to their communities. In 2014 alone, franchises donated $2,413,790 worth of moving services. With numbers like that, chances are good there is a truck out there right now adding to this impressive number.
The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system holds a long tradition of giving back to communities in which employees live and work. Giving back to the community has been a vital part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system long before it was formalized as a core value. After our founder, Mary Ellen Sheets’ first year in business, she donated her profits to 10 different charities. It is this spirit that gives meaning to the company’s motto: “Movers Who Care®.”
Locations from across the country also donate countless hours to a variety of charities including Toys for Tots, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s own community support programs — Movers for Moms®, Movers for Military, Movers for Meals,Movers for Mutts, and Truckload of Warmth.
We continue to contribute to the American Cancer Society, the national charity of choice, by donating 10 cents of every move to the cause. Since 2001, we have raised more than $400,000, with the donated money benefiting local American Cancer Society programs in cities where franchises are located.

Advice to Management
Keep Your People In Check.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK (New York, NY).
The interview process worked out really well. My first interview was a phone interview. There we worked through a number of questions. Thereafter, I had an in-person interview. About a week later I received a phone call notification.
