Mission: Our mission is to provide financial education and counseling to improve the lives of individuals and families. Since 1987, we have helped more than 1.6 million people nationwide manage their personal finances and repay debts.
The company continues to have a positive impact while helping our clients. The counselors are very knowledgeable and take pride in their accomplishments. The company values its employees (even when some do not appreciate their efforts). Regardless of comments from others, I believe leadership works diligently with all employees to serve the needs of financially distressed consumers.
TCA has had some struggles. Yet, it seems anonymity makes it easy for some to throw stones, when the comments have little merit.
Advice to Management
Keep your chin up and keep moving the company forward.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Take Charge America.
they are hungry for people so it was easy. gave me a test to see if i can write emails and it was all done. they took a long time to get back to me, but the questions were easy. it is very casual. They ask silly questions but i need a job so it was fine. told them what they wanted to hear and i was hired.
