I have been working at Talkable full-time (More than 3 years)
The team is absolutely fantastic - everyone is very friendly and helpful. Work is so much better when you love the people you work with! For a small company based in SF, there are a lot of employees who have worked here over 2 years, and I think that is a testament to the culture. There is also a lot of opportunity to learn and grow at Talkable. All teams are very receptive to feedback and there is a lot of opportunity to jump in and help out in all parts of the business.
For me this is not a con but if you are not a self-starter, I don't think Talkable is the right fit for you. Individuals who are willing to take on responsibility and volunteer to help are probably the best fit for the current environment at Talkable.
Advice to Management
There has been a new focus on true transparency in the company and I encourage us to continue on this path! We get the best from our employees when they feel involved in the company's decisions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Talkable in July 2016.
Phone screen with hiring manager who was a no-show followed by phone screen with CEO followed by writing assignment. Whole process is centered around what you can bring to Talkable with little/no-regard for what they can offer if you join their team.
