I have been working at TandemSeven full-time (Less than a year)

Been here less than 1 year and I am continually impressed with not only the talent and successful delivery, but the amount of repeat business, client references and reputation in the industry. I have been at both product and services companies in my career and have never seen the level of unsolicited leads that come in on either reputation or referrals from former clients, employees or analyst recommendations (Gartner, Forrester, etc.). I have also rarely seen companies walk away from opportunities because they are not the right fit. T7 does it without regret, which is why the success rate and client retention is so high. They do a significant amount of work with fortune 500 deliver with a very experienced staff of UX architects, Visual Designers and technology specialists. Majority of the team is 15+ years of relevant experience.

This company operates with transparency and integrity regardless if the audience is internal employees or external clients, prospects, partners. Every company talks the talk but these guys walk the walk and live it everyday. Make no mistake, they charge a premium for their services with no gimmicks or apologies. The attitude is; if you want the best you pay for it, and in the end the high client satisfaction & retention validates the model. This has been proven year over year as the company has been profitable since its inception and is high growth mode.

I really enjoy working with this team, from Sr Mgmt to the front line consultants, to back office support. No egos, simply a highly talented, collaborative team that does the right thing.

Since its essentially a mobile workforce with consultants working either at client sites, remotely or some combination, there is not a lot of opportunities to meet coworkers outside of the current project. I'd say that Work Life balance is consistent with other consulting organizations, although there is more flexibility than other places I've been. Also medical benefits are expensive, but that's more of a function our ludicrous healthcare system then an indictment on T7.

    Advice to Management

Quarterly or bi-annual employee events would be good to put names & faces together and have the oppty to socialize with colleagues you might only speak to on the phone or via email...or no interaction with at all.

    Average Interview

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at TandemSeven in December 2017.

The interview consisted of 3 parts: 2 online video conferences with architects/developers and 1 phone screening with the manager.

I felt the interview process really gave me a chance to showcase my skills. It wasn't the typical "How much did you memorize last night" type of interview. Though, there were a few basic competency questions, I thoroughly enjoyed being given development tasks and told to run with it. The developers really just wanted to see my thought process and how I problem solve.

After 2 rounds of video conferences, the manager talks to you on the phone to get a feel for where you'd fit in with the team.

Overall, I really enjoyed the entire process.
