Though I have not worked here very long, the people are really great. Though the founders are all PhD grads from Berkeley, they don't prance around acting like they are better than me. They are respectful and friendly. Lots of food and drinks in the break room. Free lunch from time to time.
They just moved office locations and the office is a bit disorganized, though it seems like it is getting a bit better everyday.
Advice to Management
Keep bringing in great people that we all want to work with.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Tarana Wireless.
1st step was a 60min programming assessment using an online tool done on your own. Mine came with 3 questions. I got close to but didn't finish the last one but was still moved to a phone screen about my background. Dinged for lack of technical fit after that even though we basically just went over my resume that they already had.
The recruiter wrote in broken English and does not read your emails properly. Does not seem like a well run shop.
