    Pros

Some great people passionate about improving the lives of young people. Great perks include flexible working/work from home, vitality healthcare and associated employee perks, office shuts for Christmas also.

    Cons

Some very bad managers who promote 'friends' opposed to staff who have made great professional achievements. Not a very diverse workforce either.

    Advice to Management

Be careful who you make a manager - there are specific skills associated with great managers. If the managers you appoint cause your employees to leave, you should rethink these decisions.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teach First (New York, NY) in December 2016.

    Interview

Online application with general information and some competency questions (250 words max). Invitation to half-day assessment centre if successful, which included a 20 minute interview, group case study, and short role-play. Plenty of waiting around which allowed you to chat with other canditates.
