I am a practice manager of 5 different specialty practices. I drive an hour each way to my job. I was told last year and now again this year that I do not qualify for a raise based upon my yearly review. Mind you none of my physicians have made any complaints on me during the calendar year. Only at the end of the year during my review. They did not take into account the other physicians who gave me rave reviews. I feel it is time for me on. What are your thoughts?

is healthcare safe from AI? are there layoffs in healthcare recently?

I just graduated last month. I am excited to get into the healthcare industry, but all the comments I have read are scary. It is really that bad?. I'm certified as a medical administrator and have 25 + years of experience as a customer service manager, and after covid, I am just wanting something with stability in my career. Any advice please. The only clinical training I received was when I did my placement in college and 5 weeks it's enough experience, I think. I live in Canada.

I am starting PRN at a SNF this week. I am anxious because I asked what is the current nurse patient ratio and was told one thing but I noticed the information was not correct. (After hire) What is deemed an appropriate nurse patient ratio in a SNF? What am I to expect? Should I leave before I start?
