    Pros

Good Pay and Benefits, Project oriented.

    Cons

Department structure needs an overhaul. Their usefulness is limited.

    Advice to Management

Although EPCs are an ever changing project based business. It is valuable to ensure young people learn and stay within the company. In my experience, TechnipFMC is paying a premium for experience and does not have a good knowledge transfer system. Having a reputation for cutting the younger engineers and project people first in hard times, does not create a long term loyalty .

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Technip USA (Austin, TX) in January 2013.

    Interview

The interview was a simple and short phone interview. The interviewer just looked at my resume and transcript and asked me about specific items listed in both documents. He asked me about certain classes I had taken and about my job experience. He was very friendly and only asked straightforward questions.
