I have been working at Techsoft full-time (More than a year)
Approachable CEO and President; aggressive in looking for more contracts; decent salary and benefits; friendly, helpful co-workers
Weird 401(k) matching that is confusing to understand unless you are a mathematician; main office in middle of downtown making it aggravating to get home as you are required to work until middle of rush hour
Advice to Management
Make 401(k) matching more common sense; allow employees who work in downtown Pensacola office the opportunity to work flex hours/telecommute to reduce aggravation with traffic, especially when it's time to leave work for the day
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Techsoft (Pensacola, FL) in June 2014.
Phone interview. The interview was a short 5-10 minute interview about my work history and did I think I could do the job they were bidding on. I felt like the interviewer was trying to fill spaces but I didn't mind since I knew I could do the job. They called and explained that at the moment they were bidding on a contract with the military and they needed 12 resumes to turn in with the bid. Then I was told that I was being offered the position only if they won the bid, which they did. It took several months for me to actually start working. The phone interview seemed more like a nice chat rather than a serious interview but the man interviewing me was very nice and was able to put me at ease. This was the first phone interview I had ever participated in.
