I have been working at TelMed Services part-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Working with the TelMed Services team is great. I get to provide care to rural patients who would otherwise have much trouble getting access to medical advice. I am able to work from home or wherever I like with a reliable internet and telephone connection.
Cons
At this point in time the only con is that there aren't enough members to perform consultations with. However that will change very soon.
Advice to Management
They should give us benefits if we work full time. As well as incentives
Application
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TelMed Services in October 2014.
Interview
I submitted my resume via Glassdoor and they contacted me within a day letting me know they received the resume and were considering me for a position within the network. A day later I received a phone call from the CMO for a quick phone interview. She was very cordial and I really liked talking with her. After the interview they sent my credentials to VerifPoint to certify everything. Once it was all certified I received an email telling me I was selected to join the network and had a quick demonstration by their Operations Manager. The system is so easy to use!!! I was consulting as soon as I put myself as available in their system. It works really well.
Interview Questions
Negotiation
TelMed Services compensates on a per case basis. I am paid by the number of consultations I perform.
