I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Telesat Holding (Ottawa, ON (Canada)).
First interview was over the phone with the HR staff and manager of the department. All correspondence between myself and HR was very uncoordinated and informal. Second interview was an in-person panel interview - again, very informal. Was given a quiz at the end of the interview which I wish I would've known about and failed miserably. Finally after 1.5 months I was invited for a 3rd interview for which I was to do a "presentation" on questions the dept. manager came up with to show knowledge of the subject. Director was responding to emails during the entire interview.
HR staff needs to be more professional and organized over email communication. Upper management should be more attentive during interview.
