I have been working at Tenmast Software full-time (Less than a year)
The company offers great health benefits. It also attempts to employ and keep people who are dedicated to doing not just the job, but the right thing.
People are all doing the right thing based on their own perspectives and experiences without the benefit of sharing perspectives. There is very little coming together of the minds. So if there is an intended strategy for the company, it is not being realized through employee engagement. It looks and feels more like a departmental free for all of well-intentioned people.
Also, there is no semblance of work/life balance and opportunities are thwarted because everyone is expected to do multiple jobs. And because nothing else is forward moving, neither is compensation.
Advice to Management
Get some core values and align the departments to them directly. Be very clear about company goals and make sure attitudes and behaviors of individuals are aligned to them. Whenever an action is not aligned well with those goals, have a conversation with the individual to educate them. This can be handled by their supervisors as long as the supervisor is well aligned to the goals.
