I have been working at Terarecon full-time (More than a year)
One of the best companies that I have worked for in a long time. I've only been working for the company for just over a year and I am very impressed how senior management cares about the employees. They keep the employees interested by promoting career growth, training, education and constant communication. We have company wide meetings every month and they tell us how our products are being developed and promoted, they keep us informed about revenues and new business development ventures. Our advanced imaging products are awesome, some of the best in the industry in the world. Our CEO promotes team work and transparency, he has an open door policy. Ah lastly, we have some of the best views of the bay, on a clear day you can see SFO, S.F. and some cities in the East Bay.
Our snacks bar is awesome, we get some of the best treats, and they feed us with great catering menus on special occasions, I would not mind more social engagements like a happy hour, picnics once in a while. OK seriously now, I don't see any critical cons this far.
Advice to Management
Keep those surveys going, they are a great tool to voice our ideas.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Terarecon (San Francisco, CA).
There were 3 phone interviews with 3 different people, all on the same day. I was then invited to come in for an onsite interview. During the phone call I was asked about my past experience and how that relates to the open position. In the onsite interview, I got an explanation of what the company does and how the position I was applying for fits in. I was also given a tour of the office.
