I have been working at Terranea part-time (Less than a year)
A high end resort that allows its associates to be themselves to better create an overall more intimate customer experience. The pools are great places to work at durring the summer. In house guest are have exclusive pool use. The new restaurant 'The Grill' offers great food and cocktails at resort prices which can benefit a server hugely. Easy to upsell and guest tip on average 18%.
Location is a bit far, offsite parking can play into your drive time. New hires are everywhere and do not have a good grip on the company culture.
Advice to Management
Very professional scene at Terranea Resort. Most managers have very nice backgrounds working around the world at top resorts.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Terranea (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) in January 2016.
it was really cool when you walk In there and everyone is very friendly and they want you to be there. the only thing is the interview gets you nervous but if you overcome that then you should be fine.
