    Pros

    Co-workers! Love & miss my co-workers so much.
    Enjoyed working. Lax environment. You get to do a lot of different things, not confined to one "job" or area. Overall a great experience that I hated to leave.

    Cons

    Staffing issues. Poor communication. Hospital itself needs work. Elevators NEVER working. Maybe one at at time most days. Softwares system needs updating. It's like working with 1988 dos.

    I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Terre Haute Regional Hospital (Terre Haute, IN) in August 2009.

    Interview

    I applied online two different times. I knew they needed a staff nurse for that position, and I knew I would be hired, so I called the director of the unit myself, I knew her from before and worked with her. She did not get any of the information from HR and was thrilled that I had called. I do know the process of applying online is the same, but there is a new head of HR so perhaps that has helped the process.

    • I had worked at this facility for about 21 years, then left and came back. So the main question was "how would I get along with staff" since I was in a middle management position before I left.   Answer Question
