I worked at Terry Costa as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working in the fashion industry for the first time I Must say I enjoyed myself. I was committed to learning new things. I worked in both the bridal and sales department. I learned many things about fabrics, body types, colors, etc. I believe I was the oldest intern there, most are high school students and college students. Busy days are Saturdays and Sundays during prom season. Spring break hits you quickly though. Compensation is good and comes in handy for those who need extra money or are first time working students. Lunch is provided every Saturday and all week during spring break. This job comes with many opportunities that can teach you many things in life and work ethic. The other employees are nice and fun to be around. I hope I am able to go back next prom season.

    Cons

Working every Saturday and Sunday was hard for me only because I have a full time job Monday through Friday.

    Advice to Management

Explain to Interns during training that they may not end up in the position that they want but opportunity comes from all departments.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Terry Costa (Dallas, TX) in August 2015.

    Interview

Extremely easy, went over work history, didn't explain much about what I was getting into. While one manager interviewed the other was behind a wall listening. Described a job rather than an internship. I was jibbed.
