Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Testlio (Spain)
InterviewThe process was endless, I attended late interviews and was asked why I sounded more tired (which is for obvious reasons!!!) and they haven't even touched the compensation aspect after 7 INTERVIEWS! This is so inconsiderate. They ended up hiring a candidate from the same industry and that was my feedback - they could've done it from interview 1 and not waste my time. People are very friendly, but that does not make up for the messy process where you don't know where you stand with the company. Also, I was blamed for entering interviews late when in fact I stood for over 30 min waiting for their staff to enter the calls. It was very weird they didn't know / acknowledge the delays and looked suspicious on me.
