Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros

Being on the Tetra Defense team has been one of the best experiences of my life, both professionally and personally. We are a team that supports each other, we push each other, and we have fun while

Cons

This isn't a con against the company, more so the time we live in with the pandemic – as a primarily remote team, I wish we could interact in person more because I truly do love working with everyone

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tetra Defense (United States)

    Interview

The process took 2 months from application to offer.

1 phone screening call to hear about the company and gauge interest.

2 Interviews with the mentors of the apprenticeship program. Everyone was very approachable and nice. the mentors made the process feel easy and comfortable. In both interviews the mentors asked more about me as a person and my story as opposed to the technical interrogations I'm used to.

    10/10, would recommend it!
