    Positive Outlook

I worked at Texaco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Really laid back, Once you get a system down of how you want to do things it goes by quick.

    Cons

You are generally all by yourself, and when you have to go to the bathroom bad with a bunch of customers it can suck.

    Advice to Management

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Texaco (Bassfield, MS) in September 2014.

    Interview

I was comfortable enough inside of the store to be able to express myself in a professional manner of an environment with my current manager, at the Bassfield,MS, Texaco. Although, there were several customers coming and going in this location, my current Manager and I took time to communicate both questions and answers, while we both greeted all customers. He told me that he appreciated my concern for his customers and looked forward to me possibly working there. This made me feel my trip to his store was greatly appreciated.

    Interview Questions

    • Where were my last few places of employment?   1 Answer
    • Am I willing to show up for all of my possible scheduled times?   1 Answer
    • Would I treat all customers the same without prejudice?   1 Answer
    • Why do I want to work for and with Texaco?   1 Answer
    • How patient am I?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

I was able to get my current manager of Bassfield Texaco Food Stores, LLC, to see that I am the best cooler person that he has ever seen. I would suggest to all potential employees of Texaco and Chevron to be honest with themselves, interviewer, and to all current employees of the location that they feel they may want to apply to.
