I worked at The Art Institutes full-time (More than 10 years)
Opportunity to grow and change lives within organization especially if willing to relocate. Robust training for Admissions/FA team. Very rewarding to see the transformation in students lives and to support them to graduate.
Due to new leadership and lawsuits, heavy bureaucracy exists without clear goals or strategy to support students/staff. 401k ceased in 2013.
Advice to Management
Before making drastic operational decisions, think about how that will impact staff/students short and long term. Consult with top leaders to arrive at collaborative solutions.

Met with department chair. Classes started the next week and they needed classes covered. The department chair had a good friend that I had worked for who recommended me as an excellent instructor. The interview process has changed quite a bit since then.
