I worked at The Atlantic Remodeling (More than 3 years)
I have many friends in the industry and this was the best comp plan by far. Company offers an intense, 3 week "boot camp" for initial training so it weeds out the weak but prepares the rest for the real deal. Always paid every dollar I was owed. I know many of my co-workers actually never took the time to learn the nuances of the commissions and just complained about it. And great leads. The Red Cent Guarantee made it awfully easy to buy...
Personally, I Don't think daily meetings/training is necessary for veteran, senior reps. And sadly a simpler comp plan would probably help the sales force although I know it would probably pay less.
Advice to Management
Love your interview process - very thorough, unlike most in this industry. Love the comp. Even the intensive training. I just lied. But it was very very helpful. Best training I have ever received. Maybe loosen the tie and just relax a bit.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Atlantic Remodeling (Fairfax, VA) in May 2015.
Hired in the spot because they are desperately in need of harrassers. I mean canvassers. They tell you all the benefits and pay range and bonuses. Which any of the referral you are suppose to receive $100 for and thats not including the other couple 100s I was told about. I will never see that money. Like i said they try anything to get you to bring in people for them hoping you will forget about the bonus
There was none. You are their mule and do whatever they say
