I have been working at The Brick full-time (More than 3 years)

employee discount on merchandise and benefits

Very stressful atmosphere, managers are no help, they just think about getting stuff sold and reaching their monthly quota so they can get their bonuses at the end of the month and screwing customers over with poor customer service. Lots of favoritism and gossip like no other workplace I've ever been too, pretty much like high school. Wouldn't recommend working at the brick at all or buying from them. Once I find another job, I am gone in a second, I won't even give them 2 weeks notice because of the stress they brought upon me at the workplace.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Brick (Langford, BC (Canada)) in June 2017.

Assistant GM did interview... nice guy ... casual and relaxed ... gave impression that they are desperate for good sales staff . Phoned in and set up interview myself. Hired on spot. Explained training program as modules and shadowing for three months.
Said that during the probation period of THREE months , there would 20% deducted OFF commission earnings for training. Commission pay is 3% of sales or minimum wage ... which ever is greater.

    Interview Questions

    • Not really a question but was told at the interview that they deduct 20% from your commission earnings during the first three months for training.   1 Answer
