I have been working at The Bristal Assisted Living full-time (Less than a year)
I love my job! I had the opportunity to work at the Bristal for my internship after going to a Culinary school. Luckily, my supervisor saw all of the hard work that I put into it, and decided to hire me. After not working for a year after having my baby, it was great to have an income. My boss makes me feel like a valued employee, and although I'm still new to the culinary field, encourages me to be creative with the meals that I cook.
No cons that I can think of.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Bristal Assisted Living (New York, NY) in July 2015.
I applied online and received a phone call from the Food Service Director to schedule an interview. He was very personable and easy to speak with. He spent most of the time describing the job duties and some of the problems that need to be addressed in the position. In total, the interview lasted about 20-30 minutes.
