The Year of Exciting Evolution

As we say goodbye to 2018, I can summarize all of the great change taking shape at The Delta Companies in one word: Evolution.

Not only did we evolve our physical space by relocating our headquarters to the dynamic technology-rich community called Cypress Waters, but we have evolved our business in key ways that have paved the way for efficiencies in day-to-day operations that best serve our clients and candidates.

One example is our reconfiguration of Delta Locum Tenens (DLT). We realigned the business so that every DLT client and candidate works directly with a subject matter expert within his or her area of specialty. This streamlined process allows
for greater knowledge transfer, enhanced efficiency, and superior results with job placement and retention.  

A second example is found in the way we’ve restructured Delta Physician Placement (DPP), which now serves both permanent physician placements and permanent allied healthcare providers. By realigning all permanent professionals into one group within DPP, we can better meet the needs for permanent employment and deliver long-term staffing solutions to the communities that need it the very most.

In 2018, TDC celebrated many accomplishments, from raising thousands of dollars for philanthropic causes to being named one of the largest healthcare staffing firms in the U.S. As we launch into 2019, our teams are focused on placing the very best talented providers in metro, urban, and rural communities around the nation. 

We begin this new year with expanded resources, greater innovation, more technology, and an enthusiastic focus on delivering the best service and experiences possible. Yes, change is good, but evolution can be even better.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Since 2007, we have devoted time, resources and funds to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Through a collaborative contribution from the entire company, we have been able to help relieve expenses for children in need of orthopedic care, help finance medical equipment and building renovations, support research, supportive services for families, and recreational activities for patients.

Comfort for a cause.

$1 a day. We encourage our employees to give $1 a day which is donated to charity. In return they get to wear casual clothes to the office. This casual wear program has generated thousands of dollars for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and is a visual reminder to everyone in the company that we’re committed to making a difference in our community.

The Delta Companies has generated over $1 million in donations benefitting TSRHC over the past ten years. This annual fundraiser is conducted through organized events and individual contributions.

The top performing marketer and recruiter from each business line are each announced at the final Quarterly meeting, and awarded a customized Rolex for their contribution and success.

    I have been with the company 8 years and I would never have thought I would have been able to create the kind of lifestyle for my family and myself that working at Delta and this industry has allowed us to have.


    Really for our size and culture there isn't any downsides to working at Delta.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Delta Companies (Dallas, TX) in August 2014.


    Interviewed by the Director first. Went really well. Had two follow-up interviews with both team leads in the department. This was in the matter of 2 days. Very laid back. They called by end of week to offer me the job.

    Interview Questions

    • Typical interview questions...what are some goals you have set and achieved recently? What are your hobbies? Name a time when you had a workplace conflict: what were the circumstances and how did you resolve it?   1 Answer
    • Regarding support roles here, such as Risk Management, they are looking for competency - do you have similar work experience and if not, are you quick learner? Since the company is very events/culture oriented, they are also looking for a good fit personality-wise with the existing group.   1 Answer


    They have a steady salary scale to where they hire everyone at the same salary and you have the opportunity to "stage" on an accelerated path if you choose. With each stage comes a jump in pay. I was able to get an additional $1K annual for the first year. You may be able to get more on your initial hire. They are pretty forthcoming with the salary info around here though.
