I worked for this company for 7 years as a Studio Engineer. I loved working here and was sad to go when I moved to go back to school. The managers are great and the people are friendly. Working with the translators and voice-over talent really taught me a lot about international relations and different customs. If you get a chance to work here, do it.
Being a small business, there is a salary cap. But, if you can live with the salary, which is pretty good, this job will teach you a lot.
Advice to Management
I don't really have anything to give advice on. I loved working with Georgia and Scott. They are kind, understanding and really care about their employees.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Geo Group (WI) (San Antonio, TX) in December 2011.
I was contacted by a friendly recruiter approx 25 days after I submitted my app online. She asked basic.questions to get a feel of my qualifications. She told me the person in charge of making the hiring decision would call the next day and it happened just so. I had a one hr phone interview and was told an in person interview decision would be made in a week. I was called a werk layer was invited for an interview and was offered the job one week later.
Very easily. They offeted I counter offered and was given what I asked for within 30 mins
