Advice to Management
Continue to show the way and don't become those who talk the way
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Giglione Ackerman Agency (Edison, NJ) in January 2019.
Three part interview process. The initial interview was one-on-one with a recruiter, I believe, who asked me several questions, which I apparently answered correctly to because I was led into a large room for the second step. I joined a group of other job candidates to fill out a questionnaire packet, and then were given a presentation about the company and the position. We were told that by 5 pm we would receive a call from someone if they had decided to set us up for the third interview. I received a call, but declined (even though I hadn't been offered the position just yet), as I was uncomfortable about certain aspects of the position.
Reasons for Declining
Note: I was not offered a POSITION but rather a third interview, the final step in the interview process. I declined that interview since there was a potential that I would be offered the position but after attending the presentation/finding out what the job entailed (going to people's houses trying to sell them the insurance and working for commission, plus there was no mention of base pay), I did not see the point in moving forward.
