Amazing work environment. My only regret is I did not start working for the Granite group sooner.

    Interview

After an initial phone screen with HR I was called in for a face to face interview with HR and the CFO. I followed up a week or two later with HR as I hadn't heard back and was told due to summer vacations they were delayed in scheduling the next round of interviews. That was the last communication I had with them. In my 25 year professional career this was the first and only time an organization failed to simply communicate that I wasn't chosen for a position after being invited in for an interview . That to me is a simple and courteous thing to do and the fact that it wasn't done indicates something about this company.
    Interview

The interview was primarily run by HR even though the CFO was there. There was more of a focus on whether I had ever fired someone in the past rather than my ability to run an accounting dept.
