I worked at The ID Co. full-time
The staff that are not C level are all amazing and super talented in every way. It’s a miracle this company has retained them. Must be the central office space.
Lack of direction in every way that matters from top down. It’s swerves & sways whenever the possible next wind comes from but no culture values that really under pin the company and are acted upon.
Advice to Management
Don’t be in charge. You’re not good at it. Your turnover of staff which is reaching 45% is indicative of this. Your investors are getting wide to the fact that just like the wizard of oz, it’s all smoke & mirrors.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The ID Co..
The interview process was very pleasant and consisted of several conversations - to assess skill level, interest in particular technologies and areas of future development, etc.
I applied through an agency who has passed on my CV to the company, I then had an initial phone interview and a face-to-face interview with two developers (front and back-end). At the end of the face-2-face interview I received a tiny assignment to complete and send for review, and was then invited to attend a on-day trial assessment working on a project. I received an offer at the end of this day,
I particularly appreciated the candid nature of the interviewers, their genuine interest in the projects and subjects that were discussed during the interview, as well as their frankness in explaining several benefits of working for the company.
