I have been working at The Media Kitchen full-time

    Pros

When you are in unprecedented tough times, like we find ourselves in now, you tend to see company's true values emerge. From what I have seen while at Media Kitchen, I have never been so proud to work at an agency. Management has led with transparency and empathy. There is emphasis on maintaining culture, mental health and strong client relationships. There are so many layers of anonymous ways to give feedback and each question is answered with sincerity and honestly.

I am fortunate enough to have the perspective of working at multiple different agencies and honestly this is the first time I have been motivated to write a review. If you find yourself with an opportunity to work at the Media Kitchen, get excited. It is a really special place!

    Cons

As with any small agency, there is less buffer in tough times. As a result, really tough decisions sometimes need to be made. That said, from my experience, those decisions have always been made in a transparent and fair way.

    Advice to Management

Keep believing in your people, keep leading with empathy, keep driving us forward. I cannot wait to see where we land once this storm has passed!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Media Kitchen (New York, NY) in February 2019.

    Interview

Was a bit difficult to schedule a time to have the first phone screening with the HR person cancelled/reschedule 4 times. The second round in office interviews 3 back to back - took 1 hour had the response in 3 days
