Mission: The New Jewish Home (formerly Jewish Home Lifecare) is committed to transforming eldercare for New Yorkers so they can live meaningful lives in the place they call home.
I worked at The New Jewish Home part-time (More than 3 years)
Union and benefits, work at your own pace, the residents are so sweet they make you not want to ever leave the job
Always short staffed, too much too do in such a short shift.
Advice to Management
Too many managers not enough actual workers.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The New Jewish Home (New York, NY) in June 2017.
Applied. 2 weeks later phone interview with HR.
Week later Interview with Regional Director
Week later interview with VP of QA
Same day tour of site, interviewed by staff and another PD who pretty much let me know that I wasn't appropriate for the job (this was an all day process).
It's been 2 months since all of these interviews so I believe it's safe to say I didn't get the job. Attempted to follow-up with HR but no response.
