    Good salary and benefits. Good PTO and paid vacation. Some managers and most rank and file employees were good to work with. Travel opportunities provided opportunity to meet with and serve clients.


    Other managers and rank and file employees - some uses of foul language from both groups - very unprofessional. Business climate could be a bit impersonal. Some folks were resistant to change or new ideas - too quick to shoot them down without giving much thought to the suggestions. Some people's tendency to not listen enough and being too quick to speak and interrupt showed their lack of respect for others.

    Advice to Management

    Be more open to suggestions on improvements and be less cliquish. Listen to people more - your viewpoint is not the only one and others can have valuable suggestions. Don't be so quick to assume that someone with suggestions has an agenda other than wanting to truly help Remi. While things might be going well at Remi now, things can change overnight, especially in today's economy! Understand that management needs to keep a business distance, but doing so too much sets up an "us vs. them mentality". Resting on your laurels can easily lead to arrogance and complacency!
