I have been working at The University of Kansas Health System full-time (More than 8 years)
Good benefits, great nurses/staff, a lot of resources, and magnet hospital.
Pay could be better at times, a lot of responsibility put on nurses, heavy work load.
Advice to Management
Would like higher pay for amount/ acuity of responsibilities assumed.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The University of Kansas Health System in May 2017.
Applied online( was a long application). Had to take a personality-type quiz which took about half an hour. A week later was called for a phone interview and a in-person interview. Phone interview took half an hour and was with a job recruiter. Was asked basic interview questions and then told about salary and benefits. Was told to wear business attire and to ask interviewer alot of questions for in-person interviews.
Congratulations to Tiffany Utz, RN, who has won The University of Kansas Health System’s latest DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
Because of new partnerships and growth on campus and throughout the region, we have evolved our name to The University of Kansas Health System. Learn more at http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQXkp.
