We are harvesting a better world.

We use the power of business to make the world a better place.

We play to win.

Our employees set ambitious goals and meet challenges with unified purpose and unmatched energy.

We nourish, naturally.

We believe that what you put into your body matters. The most nutritious — and best-tasting — foods are those from nature.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, The Wonderful Company is a privately held $4 billion global company dedicated to harvesting health and happiness around the world through its iconic consumer brands. The company’s 8,500 employees worldwide are dedicated to bringing consumers everywhere the freshest, most wholesome pistachios, almonds, citrus and pomegranates; bottling the finest water and wines; and creating colorful bouquets that are sure to touch the heart. This commitment is reflected in the company’s market share: Wonderful Pistachios is America’s No. 1 tree nut brand and one of the top-selling salty snacks; Wonderful Halos is the No. 1 mandarin orange in America; POM Wonderful is the No. 1 100% pomegranate brand in America; FIJI Water is America's No. 1 premium bottled water brand; Teleflora is the No. 1 floral delivery service through local florists; and JUSTIN Wine has the No. 1 Cabernet Sauvignon in California. A 2016 Nielsen study evaluating the familiarity, quality, and momentum of more than 2,500 leading brands revealed that Wonderful Company products dominated the top 10 lists of consumers across all generations, more than any other consumer goods company.

The Wonderful Company’s connection to consumers has health at its heart and giving back in its DNA. The company has a long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility, including more than $120 million invested in environmental technologies and sustainability research, $45 million in charitable giving and education initiatives every year, $30 million toward the construction of a new charter school campus in California’s Central Valley, and innovative health and wellness programs, including two new, free primary care clinics for employees and their dependents.

I have been working at The Wonderful Company full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I thank Wonderful for hiring me out of undergrad and teaching me how to be a professional in the corporate world. Wonderful is a place where you can be challenged and stretched, and learn something new every day. Sense of urgency is extremely important at Wonderful. We move so quickly, that the fast-pace is frightening to some folks. If you like to get things done, and accomplish goals and tasks in a timely manner, than you can be successful here.

    Cons

You have to be willing to take the heat in the kitchen at times. This place isn't for someone that likes to sit back and relax. Metrics and achievements are expected of you, and you have to be willing to work hard to get those things done.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your employees. Use the data from the employee engagement survey to make culture adjustments. In the last few years that I have been with Wonderful, I feel that upper management has listened to their employees more than ever. Continue to do that.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at The Wonderful Company (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2016.

    Interview

The interview process was very organized and fluid. The printed schedule and goody bag were a nice added touch. The receptionist on the 7th Floor was very welcoming and pleasant. All of the interviewer's were knowledgeable, kind, and respectful.
