I have been working at The Wonderful Company full-time (More than 5 years)
I thank Wonderful for hiring me out of undergrad and teaching me how to be a professional in the corporate world. Wonderful is a place where you can be challenged and stretched, and learn something new every day. Sense of urgency is extremely important at Wonderful. We move so quickly, that the fast-pace is frightening to some folks. If you like to get things done, and accomplish goals and tasks in a timely manner, than you can be successful here.
You have to be willing to take the heat in the kitchen at times. This place isn't for someone that likes to sit back and relax. Metrics and achievements are expected of you, and you have to be willing to work hard to get those things done.
Advice to Management
Continue to listen to your employees. Use the data from the employee engagement survey to make culture adjustments. In the last few years that I have been with Wonderful, I feel that upper management has listened to their employees more than ever. Continue to do that.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at The Wonderful Company (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2016.
The interview process was very organized and fluid. The printed schedule and goody bag were a nice added touch. The receptionist on the 7th Floor was very welcoming and pleasant. All of the interviewer's were knowledgeable, kind, and respectful.
