TheHomeMag® was founded in July 2002 as a single magazine location in southwest Florida with a simple purpose to drive local business to local home improvement businesses through a high-end direct mail magazine. Today, we are a collection of corporately and franchise owned Publishers with the same common core purpose: to connect reputable local home improvement companies with the top single family owner-occupied homes in every market we publish by designing client-specific brand-to-action advertising.

At present, there are nearly sixty (60) TheHomeMag® magazine publications in production in 27 states. In addition to our core magazine, many also produce a broad sampling of off-page accessory products like HomeIMPROVED®, Bookmarks, DML Cards, and other Inserts. Our Publishers collectively serve over 6,000 print advertising clients each month nationwide.

With nearly 140 million magazines and accessory products mailing to the top single family homeowners each year generating some 2 million client-calls annually, our focus remains unchanged from those early days: to create the best top calls for every client from buying homeowners every month with a common effort that pushes us to strive toward creating Raving Fans in our clients, our audience, and each other.

Nicole Packard Graphic Designer- Corporate

I've been working at TheHomeMag for just shy of six years. I began my career as a Jr. Graphic Designer at the Corporate office, working closely with two other Senior level designers as support for their markets. TheHomeMag quickly saw my potential and eventually promoted me to my own market. Since then I've had the opportunity to grow with the company and as a designer while growing TheHomeMag with launches in new markets. In 2017 the opportunity to move from Florida to my dream state of Colorado went from a dream to a possibility with the full support of TheHomeMag allowing me to move and work remotely. TheHomeMag community is like none I've ever experienced. Everyone is extremely supportive and encouraging, from the publishers and sales teams to the management staff. TheHomeMag is one giant family and one that I am grateful to be a part of!  

Matt Foreman Senior Graphic Designer- Southwest Florida

After nearly 10 years with the company, I am confident to say TheHomeMag is by far the best place to work. The intensity of meeting your publication’s deadline is softened when you walk through the door to see a TV monitor with the latest birthday boy or girl riding a dinosaur or climbing a mountain made of cupcakes, compliments of the design team’s photoshop wizardry. Working as a designer here gives me the opportunity to explore my creative side through constructing ads and magazine covers. Plus, the home improvement junkie inside of me loves being enveloped in cutting edge products and visual inspiration. As an added bonus, I began working from home about 2 years ago, which has allowed me the privilege of watching my sons grow up.

Cristina El Khouri Graphic Designer- Fort Lauderdale

I’ve been at TheHomeMag for a little over a year now and it has been an incredible experience. It’s wonderful to work for a magazine that helps so many homeowners develop great ideas and projects on how to improve their homes. The best part of it all is designing ads for our clients who want to advertise in the magazine and then to see the wonderful results they receive. I was selected as the runner up for the Golden Duck award this past year at our company conference, meaning I was calm on the surface and working hard behind the scenes (like a duck’s feet underwater), and I couldn’t be any prouder! Erwin Dass  General Manager-Southern California

In my past work experience, I have been fortunate enough to work for some good companies, but TheHomeMag exemplifies what it’s like to work for a GREAT company! Six years ago I was hired as the Marketing Director for Southern California; two years later I was promoted to General Manager (my current position). Glen Grundy  Publisher- Salt Lake City & Portland

In August 2013, I purchased TheHomeMag franchise for Salt Lake City, Utah and was ready to begin selling our launch magazine in May 2014. We fought hard through 2014 to grow our client base, and by April 2015 had reached profitability. We since have maintained steady double-digit growth year-upon-year. In 2015, I was given the opportunity to expand my own footprint to Portland Oregon, where we recruited, trained and launched our first magazine in April 2016.

My previous career was 28 years in the Engineering Sales field. I owned 5 franchises, out of a footprint of 110 national franchises, in South Africa. We were very sales driven, but I can honestly say that in comparing TheHomeMag with my previous company, TheHomeMag support in training and franchise operations is FAR superior to what I had previously received. TheHomeMag has afforded me and my family a good and stable platform for our life here in the US. I even proudly sponsor some of my son's sports teams, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all TheHomeMag has given us.

Mark Matrazzo Publisher- Jacksonville & Daytona

Amanda Vanden Boomen Publisher- TheHomeMag Minnesota

We joined TheHomeMag team in 2017 because we were previously customers and fans of the product itself. Coming from the home improvement world, we were impressed with the results TheHomeMag provided for our growing bathroom remodeling company.

Publishing was a brand new venture for us, but being entrepreneurial spirits we were intrigued by the potential return on investment from owning a branch of TheHomeMag ourselves. After meeting with the corporate team, it became immediately clear that with their tremendous leadership and clearly outlined methods, that we had the support system we would need to venture into this new industry.

We launched our first issue in March of 2017 following the high energy, high activity model that TheHomeMag teaches, and are proud to say we were producing a profitable magazine within a year.

    I applied online. I interviewed at TheHomeMag (Frederick, MD) in October 2020.


    I applied for the account executive position which i saw on indeed for the Montgomery county md area.
    i was contacted by the company recruiter and had a conversation with her .
    I then was asked to do a zoom interview with her which ui did that lasted about an hour .
    They were looking for someone with print advertising experience to sell advertising in there magazine
    I have 20 years of print advertising experience in the local area .
    they asked me about my salary requirement and i said 40-45 k plus commission which i was told was in rang with commission
    i took the assessment test the day before the interview and was told i did ok
    I even told the interviewer i could mentor reps with me experience .
    the next day i received an email saying they were moving on to other candidates
    I was very sorry to hear that since i have the print experience and knowledge i thought they were looking for
