I worked at Therma-Tru full-time (More than a year)
Amazing company to work for. They truly value their employees and treat them great. The employee are high quality people. They are people that will become lifelong friends from all levels, management all the way down to the floor associates. People you will really WANT to work with and achieve great things with. Engineering leadership has been a little rocky in the past few years, but overall the company is doing a lot of things right.
There just wasn't room for me to advance within the company. After working at this company, expect future companies to fail in comparison. If you walk through the plant do not be surprised to see people wearing Therma-Tru "I love my job" t-shirts because people honestly do love their jobs! The last day I worked at TT was probably the last day I came to work smiling. Other companies do not do golf outings, management served steak dinners, donations to countless local charities for achieving team goals, and just promoting the overall happiness of their employees.
Advice to Management
The nearly 100% turnover within the RIDE engineering department should be alarming. Hire a leader that highly skilled people actually want to follow and accomplish great things for.
A phone call interview from the lead engineer who worked there. Took about 15 minutes. The process was fast and smooth. The questions were general. Some behavioral questions and what sort of softwares I use.
