I worked at Thinkwell Group full-time (More than a year)
- Fun Environment
- Friendly Coworkers
- Young Staff
- Open & modern work space/amenities
- Freedom; Not much structure
- lack of structure = no clear path for growth.
-Not much of a mentoring culture
-Many of the positions you are thrown in the deep end to learn
- Lack of organized training means that not everything is done the same, and feedback is not consistent
-Success is usually based on the luck of the draw or through the rare, constructive review of your work
-CONSISTENT growing pains (small company mindset, doesn't work with growth rate)
-BEWARE of layoffs based on project based work!!!!
Advice to Management
Needs to either invest in experienced talent, or develop a training program and standardization for younger professionals. Also needs to adjust to larger size of company in practice, especially when consistency of project influx is concerned. Investment in a more robust HR department could also benefit. Could benefit from overall standardization company wide.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Thinkwell Group.
Easy interview with VP of People. Looking to see if you fit culture and will perform basic duties. Only negative experience was that interviewer was late for interview. Also had interviews with heads of department and immediate supervisor.
