I worked at Thomas C. Wilson full-time
Convenient area near major public transportation, SOME great co workers, calm setting (for the most part) ,great learning experience, will help you grow thick skin.
Unstable owner who will contradict himself, and make you feel as though you don't know how to do your job. Borderline abusive attitude towards his employees. Will fly off the handle for the smallest reasons, and has no respect for anyone. EXTREMELY toxic work environment.
Advice to Management
There is no true management team. There is one dictator who calls all the shots, but does not take responsibility when things go wrong. Start showing your employees more respect instead of trying to buy them. Learn how to communicate with people without insulting and degrading. Let people work how they feel COMFORTABLE! ex: using post its or writing things down. These things shouldn't bother you as much as they do. You work with intelligent human beings who do not need someone micromanaging their every move.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at Thomas C. Wilson.
Interview was through staffing agency. Phone interview was first, then face-to-face interview.
Pretty basic questions that came directly from the job announcement.
Negotiation was done through staffing agency. I negotiated with the agency and they negotiated with the company.
