I have been working at Thornton Tomasetti full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great staff throughout the office are supportive and help challenge each other to learn and perform at their best level. The staff is very cohesive and works well together with minimal (but of course some) office politics. Great variety of project work from high rise to k-12 offers a variety of project responsibility.

    Cons

Can be long hours to excel among a competitive group. Office leadership may spend too much effort coming up with strategies for improvement/advancement of the office before enacting them.

I was a little taken aback with the lack of politeness in my email correspondence with the hiring manager. Every email was curt, abrasive and as he was doing ME a favor by speaking to me. I don't really think reaching out to a potential candidate this way reflects well on your company. Extremely pleased to not be going forward and I hope whomever they 'convince' to hire will perhaps have some decency to bring to this organization.
