I worked at Thrifty Foods part-time (More than a year)
It's a pretty okay job if you're only working part-time while you're going to school or something like that. It's east to balance.
There's really not much room for advancement or moving up in the career chain. I happened to get free Thrifty ice cream because I had a cool boss, but other than that, no benefits.
Advice to Management
Take notice of hard working employees and give them opportunities for moving up. Let them utilize their talents and skills to their full potential.
I applied online. I interviewed at Thrifty Foods.
It was a new store so it was a quick five minute interview at a job fair type setting. There was a bit of a miscommunication error in the location being changed, but luckily my being fifteen minutes late didn't affect my interview. The manager asked a 4-5 questions that were pretty straightforward and easy to answer.
