The DAISY Award at Thrive

Thrive is well on its way to becoming one of the nation’s leading providers of the highest quality and most compassionate clinical home care to medically fragile children. Our core values and our strategic goal of clinical excellence speak to our deep desire to operate at the highest levels and continuously seek opportunities to raise the bar. One of those opportunities is the DAISY Award.

About the DAISY Award

The DAISY Award recognizes nurses for their extraordinary acts of compassion and excellence in their work with patients, families, the community, and their co-workers. The DAISY Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to acknowledging the education, training, skill, and care that nurses bring to their jobs every day. Any nurse, in any role, is eligible for a DAISY Award. All winners receive a certificate, a pin to be worn on their ID badge, a unique, hand-carved “Healer’s Touch” sculpture, and recognition from the national DAISY Foundation.

Such a great company. Everyone is so helpful in the office. Always has cases available. They're very accommodating, will find you a case close to your home. If you have any questions or concerns clinical supervisors are always there.

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care (Austin, TX) in July 2017.

I called ahead to inquire about openings, made an appointment for an interview, I went in to the office, filled out an application, was then interviewed and offered a position. Received a follow up call from corporate to see if I was taking the position. There was to be an orientation the following week but it was postponed for a week. Went in for orientation and a skills check.
