At ThriveHive, our interns aren't making copies or doing coffee runs. They are valued teammates who actively contribute to our every day. 

  • ThriveHive has a robust Summer internship program expanding across all of our offices.
  • Our program allows interns to learn about each facet of the business, from marketing to engineering to customer support. They also get to have a little fun, too. This year's interns got to spend some time giving back with Cradles to Crayons, and also cheered for our home team at Fenway Park.
  • We truly treasure our interns, and have had several come back as full-time employees at ThriveHive.

Light and Fit

We are intense, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Everyone on the marketing team has a spirit animal. The engineering team names their sprints after television shows. Our success team started a company bake-off and subsequent exercise program. We've had our share of mistakes, and have had to send out one or two "oops" emails because we're humans and we're intense. Our mistakes are as intense as our successes and are used as a tool for strong and sustained growth.

We don't see our customers as customers. In fact, we don't really even see them as small business owners. We see them as individuals whose livelihood is fused with their lifestyle, whose business is a piece of their identity. We want these hard-working individuals to know that they have more power to grow their business than they think, and we come together as a team to spread this message.

    I have been working at ThriveHive full-time (More than a year)


    This company does a great job of providing you a platform where you can excel on your own. There are new faces and the office is continuously growing, trying to expand a great group of people even more so. ThriveHive as a company is making a serious splash into the marketing world, we are picking up traction month over month. There is a ton of talent here to learn from, people of all sorts can find their groove and become successful. The workload is something that shouldn't be exceptionally overbearing, but this is a sales job. The negative reviews are from former employees who held grudges against other coworkers for their success and let negativity become a regular part of their day. They did little to better themselves and become part of a team that thrives on each others success. That being said there is plenty of room for growth provided you are hungry to succeed. This isn't a job for someone who's just going to show up everyday and do the bare minimum to be successful. The team of leaders here will give you a long leash to learn and find where it is you can be successful and will encourage spontaneity and allow you to explore new sales techniques. All in all I've been immensely pleased with all of my managers and the coworkers who are brave enough to become leaders.


    Most of the negative employees have been let go or quit. The company is expanding at an incredibly fast rate, so there is some catching up to do with certain products being offered, but that is to be expected with the growth.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on doing what you're doing and let go of the employees with negative attitudes.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ThriveHive (Boston, MA) in August 2017.


    Very conversational; no silly obscure questions. Once I came in for my in-person interview the VP of sales grabbed a marker and started brainstorming with me touching on most aspects of a Inbound Marketing Strategy to test my knowledge in a very natural and effective way. I really appreciate and value to methods the VP and team in general employ to make sure they are building the best team possible.
