I have been working at Tiempo Development full-time
Great atmosphere, supportive and fun team. Good opportunity to utilize skills and talents with encouragement for professional development.
While employee health insurance is reasonable, family coverage is costly and the maximum out of pocket responsibility for the plans are high. However, this seems to be happening everywhere.
Advice to Management
More travel between locations should be encouraged to unify employees and strengthen culture and vision even more than it is.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tiempo Development (Tempe, AZ) in February 2017.
Most of the process was simply communication oriented. A series of phone calls with increasingly more influential staff members; the first was with the admin assistant, the second with a technical lead. Some technical discussion occurred but not in depth, they just want to know if you can speak in a technical manner (it's sales engineering, not implementation). I interviewed while in my final semester of computer engineering, so the technical discussion was second nature. After the phone calls, had a skype meeting and finally went into the Tempe office on two separate occasions meeting almost all staff members on the business side of the company. Great people, nice atmosphere. They definitely want to make sure you're someone they're willing to work with.
